Skullduggery: The way mammal skulls work
Skulls of mammals are marvels of natural evolution and can inform a lot about how the animal made a living, even if you do not know who owed that skull in life. I will bring a lot of skulls and talk about various attributes of sensory systems and dentition, including the quantitative biomechanics of bite force. No there won't be a test. This will not be a skull ID workshop per se, but if participants have a found skull they would like identified, we can give it a try after the presentation.
