OUTDOOR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
There’s no better way to unwind from a long day at school than to spend time outside! Our year-round, outdoor After-School program will create endless opportunities for K-7th graders to connect to nature and each other while exploring the wonders of the Lime Hollow Nature Center! This afterschool experience will focus on free play and activities will evolve based on the interests of the children. Activities will vary and be informed by the seasons from crunching leaves, building snow forts, climbing trees, snowshoeing and sledding, cooking snacks in the cob oven, planting and harvesting from the garden, and so much more!
Transportation will be provided by bus from Dryden Central School District schools. Lime Hollow can also transport a limited number of students from select schools (see below for details). Children can also be dropped off at the Visitor Center by caregivers!
Participants can sign up for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week!
LIME HOLLOW VAN TRANSPORTATION
Lime Hollow's van will go to Cortland Schools (Barry & Smith) & Cassavant on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday with 6 seats available.
Lime Hollow's van will go to Homer Schools (Homer Elementary & Homer Intermediate) on Wednesdays & Fridays with 6 seats available.
Spots on the van will be filled on a first come, first serve basis - so please register all siblings at the same time.
We will let you know if there are spots in the van shortly after you register. If there are no more spots available and your child(ren) are no longer able to attended, Lime Hollow will issue a full refund.
IF THERE IS ANOTHER AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM YOU ARE CONSIDERING AS WELL, WE RECOMMEND YOU REGISTER FOR THAT PROGRAM AS WELL IN CASE WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION.
