OUTDOOR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
There’s no better way to unwind from a long day at school than to spend time outside! Our year-round, outdoor After-School program will create endless opportunities for K-6th graders to connect to nature and each other while exploring the wonders of the Lime Hollow Nature Center! This afterschool experience will focus on free play and activities will evolve based on the interests of the children. Activities will vary and be informed by the seasons from crunching leaves, building snow forts, climbing trees, snowshoeing and sledding, cooking snacks in the cob oven, planting and harvesting from the garden, and so much more!
Transportation will be provided from schools by Dryden Central School District. Children can also be dropped off at the Visitor Center by caregivers!
Participants can sign up for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week!
Thanks to Royal Subaru, we purchased our very own van to help with transportation needs.
VAN TRANSPORTING-IMPORTANT
Please note we won’t be able to go to every elementary school. Based on the families that register we will create a roster that allows the most families. This could mean that your child may not get a van ride on all days you select.
We should be able to provide a final roster in late August. If for some reason we can’t get your child here by 4PM and transportation is crutial , we will refund your deposit.
If you are able to, don’t hesitate to register for your back up after school program. We apologize for this inconvience.
