Lime Hollow School Programs

You belong at our school and pre-school programs.

Respect for nature – and, in turn, nature's positive impact on us – starts when we're children and lasts a lifetime. That's why the Lime Hollow Center has made school programs a top priority.

Environmental Field Trips -- Over 3,000 school children visit the Center each year on day-long or short-term fieldtrips led by trained, paid instructors and naturalists.

Nature's Keepers and Travel Trunk Pre-school -- throughout the year, these programs enable parents and youngsters to bond with nature and strengthen family relationships.

Other educational opportunities -- hundreds of high-school and college students also augment their studies at the Center, including students from SUNY at Cortland , Ithaca College , Cornell University, TC3, and regional BOCES. We also offer educational and visit programs for outdoor groups and clubs.
