Help Lime Hollow Purchase a Trail-Ready Wheelchair – to help people with disabilities enjoy nature!

We already have a lead gift, courtesy of Anaren, Inc. (Syracuse) for $500!

Research has shown that Lime Hollow’s top-rated feature/attraction is our trails. Yet despite the fact that we’ve spent a great deal of time, effort, and resources developing our County’s only trail designed for people with disabilities (officially dedicated in summer 2009!) – there are still those who may not access this new “trail for all” for lack of a trail-ready chair.

Why not help change that – by contributing to our fund to purchase our own ‘loaner’ trail-ready chair?

To be stored right at our Visitor Center, for “on demand” use, the chair we’re looking to buy has an extra-sturdy construction, thicker/knobbier tires for traction, and other features that make trail access easier and more comfortable.

The cost for this sort of chair is approximately $3800; fortunately, we already have a $500 jump-start on the purchase, thanks to a generous, 2008 donation of $500.
