Learn the Basics on "Protecting & Leveraging Your Hard-Earned Estate!"
October 1, 7-8 p.m. at Lime Hollow
Supporters of Lime Hollow sometimes ask about the tax benefits of making an estate-oriented gift to our nature center or to other non-for-profit organizations. In response, we’re offering this free, no-selling, and strictly informational session on basic strategies for protecting one’s estate for future generations including the concepts of estate-tax protection through charitable giving.*
Who should attend: anyone who has ever wondered how to avoid undue estate taxes or income taxes following retirement. (BTW: You don’t need to be as “Rich as Bill Gates” to be impacted by this subject or to benefit from estate planning!)
What you’ll learn/hear: proven & legitimate tactics for reducing estate taxes, including information on the strategies and tax benefits of leaving a legacy gift to any qualifying non-profit (not just Lime Hollow)
Our guest presenters:
- Mike Shafer of the Riehlman, Shafer & Shafer law firm (Tully/Cortland)
